How to fill out a ballot

Most Florida counties now use an optical scanning system in which you fill out a paper ballot and then the ballot is scanned in a machine.

This type of ballot contains oval bubble for each candidate or ballot issue. You must fill in each bubble completely with the black pen provided in the voter booth, as shown below in the photograph. Once you have finished completing the ballot, you bring it to the optical scanner, which scans your ballot.
